Estate Agents In Chelsea

Chelsea is synonymous with wealth, and for good reason – the average property price in Chelsea stretches into the millions. But there are still a few bargains to be had, so long as you don’t mind compromising a little on space.

Rental Prices In Chelsea

If you’re looking to rent a property in Chelsea, you can pick up a studio flat for somewhere in the region of £250 – £450 whilst  a (very) small one bedroom apartment starts at around £300. You can actually pay anything up to £1000+ for a one bedroom place – with the properties at the upper end of the scale being spacious and renovated to an incredibly high standard.

Two bedroom properties range between £400 and £1,500 and whilst you can theoretically find a a three bedroom from £600, you’re more likely to find them in the £1,000 – £3,000 range.

Property Prices In Chelsea

For those of you looking to buy, you will need around £300,000 to start looking at small studio properties and realistically you need at least £400k for a small one bedroom, and £500k for a ‘cosy’ 2 bed. Once you get over £750k the properties really start improving and mews houses can be picked up from £1m. A 3/4 bedroom house suitable for a family with a small garden is going to cost at least £2m.

Be careful of anything that looks too good to be true (such as a one bedroom for £200k) as the property may only have a few years remaining on its lease. Or it might be a houseboat.
